Support our 2015 Fundraiser!
After 79+ episodes, we have decided it's time to look to the future and take the Secret Cabal to the next level. As we talked about on the show, to move forward we need some funds to get thing done and get them done to the quality level that you've come to expect from our productions. We've decided to roll out a fundraiser initiative on Patreon.com. We love doing the show, it's so much fun for us and we're so happy about the outpouring of support you all have given us in the past. But we want to do more. MORE I SAY!
We're very excited about this becasue it means we're going to be doing more content for you guys to consume. Our first phase of the project will be doing a Fifth Wednesdays show! So when we have that week off when there's a fifth Wednesday, we'd plan to start releasing a new show thats a little different. We havent worked out the details of what it'll be yet, but it'll be founders talking about games And hopefully if everything goes as planned, we'll do it more often. This isnt the only thing we'd like to do, there are lots of things we have swimming around in our brains for 2015. We'll keep you guys updated as to what we're planning as things move forward!
So anyway, if you guys are so inclined, think we're worth it and have the funds to spare, jump over to our fundraiser page at http://www.patreon.com/thesecretcabal and hook us up.
Thank you all so much for your support in the past and going forward. I've said it before and I'll say it again you guys are the best people in the world and I'm proud to be part of this community.
News from the depths! The AquaSphere is a research facility stationed deep below the ocean's surface, and your skilled team — consisting of an engineer, a scientist, reprogrammable bots and exploratory submarines — is trying to gather as much data as possible. The game board in AquaSphere has two main areas: A research station comprised of six sectors in which your scientist conducts experiments and a headquarters where your engineer supervises preparation of the bots. During each of the four game rounds, you take several turns, and on each turn you either: Use your engineer in the headquarters to program a bot; each round you can choose from three of the seven actions. Have your scientist bring a bot to a sector to perform an action. Through actions such as improving your lab, sending out submarines, collecting crystals, and examining octopuses, you expand the abilities of your team or gather knowledge points, which are necessary to win. Additional challenges result from the limited size of your lab, which is your personal stock; you can increase the size of your lab, which makes life easier, but this costs valuable time. AquaSphere is a challenging game of strategy and tactics with different paths to victory that requires planning in advance as well as skillful use of short-term opportunities.
